'First' Caos Reference Art - Plz comment

Very basic concept art of 'First' Caos, a main female character from my book series with , Tales of Atonement. Be on the look put for it Spring of 2012!

Art referenced for pose from a base I will credit at a later date, when I find it again. Her hair was inspired by a woman wearing a wig for a Vocaloid character. Don't know which one atm. Her expressions were just me trying out some new ones that were completely accurate to her character. She's such a loud mouth at this age. XD

Artist's Notes:
Okay, so this one took forever. Literally months. I know what you're thinking. 'But why? She's painfully simple. Drawing a body suit is pie, and her hair is a lot easier to draw than a lot of others you've done in less time.'

I think that's the point. I've gotten used to challenging myself, and doing details and drawing things I never have before... To go back to this kind of simplicity almost felt...insulting, and it was so boring, I kept working on other references instead, just because.

I love her expressions. They're so her. And they were very different than others I had done before. I'm really glad, because I was just going to give her the same expressions as 'Third' Caos, but it just didn't feel right.

Probably one of my more original, and different character concepts. It hurt when Caos outgrew this version of herself into the damned near Utena clone she became next. But you never see either of these versions again after the first book.
